About the MORE Turkey Challenge

Turkey hunting competitions have traditionally come with several frustrations—limited size, high costs, unfair rules, scarce birds on assigned properties, minimal prize payouts, and the inconvenience of traveling far to hunt in unpredictable weather conditions while chasing birds that aren’t “right.” That all changes now! Introducing The MORE Turkey Challenge, the biggest and most exciting turkey hunting competition to date. What sets it apart? For starters, it offers the largest payout ever at up to $205,000 across four divisions. Hunters also have the freedom to hunt when and where they choose, using any weapon and any season, right from home. No more rigid schedules—wait until the birds are "right" in your area and hunt on your own terms. Registering a legally harvested bird is simple and can be done directly from your cell phone, making participation easier and more accessible, whether hunting locally or traveling across the country. RULES:

Hunters shall adhere to all Federal, State & Local laws.
MORE will accept competition entries for all four challenge divisions beginning on February 1st, 2025 and continuing through June 8th, 2025.
Hunters may submit competition entries for as many Eastern, Rios, and Merriam's as they have legal licenses and/or tags.
Hunters may only submit two competition entries for Osceola's due to Florida law and the fact that only two Osceola's may be legally hunted in Florida during spring turkey season.
MORE does not accept any Hybrid Sub Species of wild turkeys.
More will only accept entries of Wild turkeys.
MORE accepts competition entries from all properties and all legal hunters - own, lease, draw, auction, over the counter, public or private.
MORE accepts competition entries harvested with any legal weapon.
MORE accepts competition entries from guided or unguided hunts.
MORE accepts competition entries from hunters for any turkey hunted in any legal manner.
MORE nor its employees, agents or family will be allowed to enter any divisions whatsoever.
MORE Utilizes NWTF scoring criteria (1x weight, 2x longest hair on one beard, and 10x spur length).

Registration:

Hunters must wait until the next day after signing up, to enter their kill. All the way up until 6/8/25.
Hunters must video their limp bird and screen shot the location of their kill within minutes of the kill.
Hunters must video weighing their bird to include clear images of the zeroed scale, the hunter's face, of the weighed bird and then of a zeroed scale again in the same short video
Hunters must submit pictures of each spur and beard.
Hunter must complete their registration the day of their kill.
Hunters must swear or affirm that their competition entry was legally hunted and in keeping with all applicable Federal, State & Local Laws
Hunters will have up to two attempts to pass a virtual polygraph (lie detector) test if they qualify for any payout in any division.
Hunters that fail the virtual polygraph (lie detector) test are disqualified and removed from the competition, at the discretion of MORE.
Hunters that win any challenge division will be liable for any loss or cost incurred by MORE if proven that they violated the rules and regulations of the MORE Challenge. At a minimum, they must return any prize monies paid to them and a $2,500 fine. They would also be liable for the costs and attorney's fees incurred by MORE, if any. All legal proceedings brought by MORE or filed against MORE will take place in whatever jurisdiction that MORE Turkeys decides.

Entry Fees:

The Four MORE Divisions: $350 per hunter per division limited to 200 paid hunters in each division

Payouts:

Cash Payouts to the top eleven entries in of the four each division
Non-Cash Awards to entries twelve through twenty-two in each division by way of a free entry to the following year's More Challenge
Virtual awards ceremony on June 21, 2025
TOTAL PAYOUTS for all divisions will total up to $205,000*
TIES: In the case of a tie, MORE will award each entry one-half of the payout for the position for which there is a tie and one-half of the payout below the position for which there is a tie.
Payouts assume all competition spots are sold. If not, Payouts will be prorated in MORE's discretion.*
MORE will pay an ADDITIONAL $5,000 to the one highest scoring bird of the spring in ADDITION to any other monies that bird has already won.

What you will need for your hunt:

Cell Phone- Digital Scale - Tape Measure - Applicable License - Email address - Photo ID - Turkey Gear - Property to hunt

The More Turkey Challenge will recognize the NWTF map for Sub Specie populations

Where to start your measurements for the Beard and spurs

The following videos and pictures will ALL need to have the same close timestamp on them.

Take your time and make sure that there's no questions as to the exact measurement of each.

2 VIDEOS that you will email to [email protected] ( include your name & Division):

-1 ~15 second video of your face, the surroundings, a LIMP Tom, a close up of each spur and of the beard.

-1 ~15 second video (that doesn't leave the scale) with your face in it, then a zeroed digital scale, you hanging your Tom, the weight of your Tom, you taking your tom off of the scale and then the scale zeroed again.
