The New frontier for Avid Turkey hunters is the U.S. Super Slam, which consists of a legal Turkey from each of the 49 states. On 5/14/14 I was the ~9th on record to complete my own Super Slam of all Toms. I was the first to complete a self-guided Super Slam, of which, several Toms were harvested from public property. My version of technology back then was my trusted Rand McNally book showcasing a map of each state. The following information is set forth as cliff notes for the traveling Turkey hunter to be able to quickly get the basic information from each state to have a starting point to see if there’s a state where they might want to travel to. Please use the following information knowing that laws change often and you need to do your own homework to make sure that you yourself are always legal.
